I’ve mourned a few close relationships over the years, and they ate up a lot of my mental energy for a long time.
I see now that people aren’t always meant to stay in our lives forever.
Some come, some go, a few stay.
But God makes no mistakes and He is always trying to show us something through our heartaches.
When we get our eyes focused on heaven, and focused on Him suddenly our earthly struggles don’t seem so hard.
He will carry us through it all if we allow him to.
And we have this to look forward to –
“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” Revelations 21:4
